ORDINANCE NO. 18-66 VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
ORDINANCE CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT
OF JOHN THOMAS AS DEPUTY MARSHALL OF
THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO. AND SET-
C TING THE COMPENSATION OF SAID DEPUTY
MARSHALL
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed John Thomas as Deputy
Marshall of the Village of Dublin, Ohio; and
WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that said John Thomas
is a suitable person for such appointment. \
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, STATE OF OHIO, &
of the elected members concurring;
SECTION 1. That the appointment by the Mayor
of John Thomas, as deputy marshall of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, be, and it hereby is confirmed.
I~I SECTION 2. That the said John Thomas, shall be
-- paid at the rate of $1. 50 per hour for such time as
he is on police duty as deputy marshall of the Vil-
lage of Dublin, Ohio.
SECTION 3. That the said deputy marshall shall
only perform police duty upon the direction of the
mayor of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, or in the
mayor's absence, by direction of the President of
Counc i1.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same
hereby is declared to be an emergency measure ne-
cessary for the immediate preservation of the pub-
lic peace and safety, for the reason that the Village
of Dublin is in immediate need of an additional deputy
marshall, and that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
