' A G R EE M ENT This Agreement made and entered into by and between the Board of Township Trustees of Perry Township, Franklin County, Ohio, a Board of Township Trustees as defined in Chapter 505 of the Ohio Revised Code, j sometimes hereinafter referred to as "Perry", and the Village of Dublin, I '-" Ohio, a municipal corporation, sometimes hereinafter referred to as "Dublin' : 1. In consideration of the payment of Eighty Dollars ($80.00) per month by Dublin to Perry, Perry agrees to provide communication service twenty-four (24) hours per day and seven (7) days per week to the Police Department of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. 2. It is mutually agreed by the parties as follows: (a) Dublin shall, at its cost, install and maintain a police phone in the Perry Township Radio Room during the period of this contract. . I (b) Perry shall answer such phone and shall communicate , the message or request to the Dublin Po~ice Department ! ) \ in accordance with generally acceptable procedures for \..-' dispatching and in accordance with such procedures as I shall from time to time be prescribed by the Chief of I Police of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. ! I (c) Perry shall answer the Dublin cruiser radio and shall j communicate messages and requests in accordance with generally acceptable dispatching procedures and in I accordance with such procedures as shall from time to time be prescribed by the Chief of Police of the Village 0 Dublin, Ohio. (d) Perry shall keep a log of all communications referred ,to in Paragraphs (b) and (c) above. Such log and all other I papers and information relating to the operation of the Dublin Police Department shall be maintained by Perry and transferred to the Dublin Police Department in accordance with procedures prescribed by the Chief of Police of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. The Perry dispatchers shall not release or divulge any information i , relating to Dublin Police operations to persons other i I than officials of the Village of Dublin except as s. j I necessitated by generally acceptable dispatching procedur I (e) Dispatching shall be performed only by qualified I i , I ---' individuals hired by Perry for that purpose. i (f) The Chief of Police of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, shall I , supply to Perry a roster containing the names, addressest: and telephone numbers of all members of the Dublin Police Force, active and reserve, and shall from time to time update said roster. Perry shall use such roster to contact such members when requested by the Dublin cruiser or otherwise. (g) Perry dispatchers shall run license and other registratio i checks for Dublin upon request. (h) Perry shall perform all of its obligations under this . ~ . contract in accordance with procedures set forth by the . Chief of Police of the Village of Dublin~ Ohio~ and shall in no way interfere with the operation of the Dublin POliCE Department. 3. Perry further agrees that its dispatchers may serve as violations referees of the Traffic Violation Bureau of the Village of Dublin~ , t Ohio~ provided~ however ~ that Dublin shall furnish a lock box at its expense i \ 1 and shall pay any other expenses involved in the operation of such Traffic j 0' Violation Bureau including the erection of a sign and the cost of furnishing fidelity bonds. It is agreed between the parties that Dublin may erect a sign on the building housing the Perry Radio Room indicating that it is the Dublin Traffic Violation Bureau. This Agreement shall become effective January 1~ 1972~ and shall remain in force for a period of six (6) months. The contract will automatic all 'v c, be renewed for additional periods of six (6) months unless notice is received I by either party from the other that they wish to terminate the contract at the ....
