AN ORDINANCE RESCINDING ORDINANCE NO: 09-71 AND
RETAINING AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR TO ASSIST
[ THE VILLAGE ENGINEER, SETTING THE COMPENSATION:
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the appointment of a Village Engineer and a Building
Inspection Consultant has eliminated the need for a Building In-
spector and Zoning Officer as set forth in Ordinance 09-71, and:
WHEREAS, Counc i I is of the opinion that Robert McCoy, appointed
to the position of Bui 'ding Inspector and Zoning Officer by Or-
dinance 09-71, possesses experience and expertise in technical
areas of zoning and engineering that the Village desires to con-
tinue to retain:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I. That the terms and conditions of Ordinance 09-71 be
rescinded as of the effective date of this Ordinance.
SECTION 2. That Robert McCoy be and hereby is retained as an
independent contractor to assist the Village Engineer as required

SECTIONjl. That said Robert McCoy shall be paid at the rate of
$12.00 per hour for his services performed in assisting the Vil-
lage Engineer as required.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance be and the same hereby is declar-
ed an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation
of the peace, health and safety, and for the further reasons that
Ordinance 09-71 is no longer appropriate. Therefore, this Ordin-
ance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its pass-
age.
