AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE SOLICITOR TO FILE
A PET IT I ON IN FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMON PLEAS
COURT TO TRANSFER FUNDS: AND DECLARING AN
r EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, there were remaining Vii lage funds in the "Monterey Driv~
Improvement Fund" which, without the fol lowing actions, could not
be used for other purposes; and:
WHEREAS, a Resolution was passed to petition the Commission of
Tax Equalization to approve the transfer of said funds to the
General Fund: and
\vHEREAS, the petition was approved and must now be fi led with the
Frankl in County Court of Common Pleas for final approva I :
NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Vi I lage of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I . That the Vi I lage Sol icitor is hereby directed to fi Ie
a petition in the Frankl in County Court of Common Pleas for final
approval to transfer said funds to the General Fund.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby IS, de-
",... clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
~ preservation of the publ ic peace, health and safety and for the
'-- further reason that said funds cannot be used otherwise, therefore
this Ordinance shal I take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.

This matter came on to bl~ considered by the Commisr.ioner of Tax
Equalization on the application of the Village of Dublin
Franklin County, Ohio, for authority to transfer . funds from
the Monterey Sewage Improvementfund to the General fund
of said township pursuant to the provisions of Sections
5705.15 and 5705.16, Revised Code.

Now th('~t'efore, the Conunissioner of Tax Equallzation finds, after
examining the application and petition addressed to the Court of
COUlmon'Pleas of Franklin County, Ohio, that this request
for transfer of fundE: in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred
Twelve'Dollars and Ninty ,- Six Cents ( $1,712.96 )
for the Village of Dublin is in compliauce with the pro-
visions of Sections 5705.15 aud 5705.16, Revised Code, and hereby
approves the request to file said petition in the Court of Conunon
Pleas of Franklin County.
It is hereby ordered that copies of this journal entry be C'ertified
~ to the Clerk of: Courts of Franklin County, Ohio, and to the
Village Solicitor , respectively.
