BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio~_

Of the elected members herein concurring:
1 SECTION I. That the purchase of a tractor and mower is needed hy I

he Village for maintenance purposes, I

SECTION II That the following shall be the specifications for such
I
ractor and mower: I
TRA CTOR & MOWER SPECIFICATIONS
1 - Highway Tractor Mower (Massey-Ferguson 2135 or equal)
equipped with 6 ft. Gutter Bar Mower (Hydro-Clipper Mower
or equal) to be mounted on tr8ctor, 3 point hitch to operate
(' simultaneously with the side mounted mower.
I Complete unit must meet the following specifications:

TRACTOR - Engine - 4 cylinder wet sleeve gasoline type with
not less than 134 cu. in. displacement and equipped with
12 volt electric starter J variable speed governor, gene-
rator. replaceable element oil filter. To be equipped with
power steering.
Transmission - shall have a minimum of 6 speeds
forward and 2 reverse.
Tires - c600 x 16, 4 ply - front.
12.4 x 28 4 ply cleat type rear.
Accessories - Tractormeter- hourmeter; fuel, oil
pressure and water temperature gauges; foot and hand
throttle; 12-volt electrical system, Front and rear
lights. dual clutch, differential lock.
Color - Highway Yellow,
" MOWER - 6 ft, cutter bar, side mounted with knife in cutter bar
and to include 1 extra knife for each mower, Shoe to be I

raised and lowered hydraulically, Cutter bar to be hydraulic I

powered from front mounted pump and must operate 45 I
below horizontal and 900 above.

Bidders must state Make and Model No, of Tractor and
enclose literature showing tractor and type of mowers
they are bidding.
Bid price to include delivery to Dublin, Ohio. 30 days
after receipt of purchase order,

SECTION III That the Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to advertise for
bids for the purchase of the tractor and mower,
SECTION IV. That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to pur-

c chase such tractor and mower for cash in accordance with the above specifica-
\.
tions from the lowest bidder according to law,
SECTION V. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necess~ry for the immediate preservation
of the public safety, peace, and general welfare, and that this Ordinance shall
take effect immediately upon its passage.
