ORDINANCE NO. II -66 VILLA GE OF DUBLIN
Ordinance vesting recreation board authority in Village
Council, hiring a recreation director, and appropriating the

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, ~_
of the members elected herein concurring:
SECTION I. That pursuant to the authority of Section 755.13 of the
Ohio Revised Code, the authority to supervise and maintain recreation facilitie
is hereby vested in the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, The Mayor and
members of Council shall serve during their respective terms in office. All
members shall serve without additional compensation.
SECTION II. The Village Council shall have all of the powers, authori y
and duties granted to such recreation board by the Ohio Revised Code.
" SECTION III. That Richard Close is hereby employed as recre~tion
r director of the Village of Dublin for the period of June 6, 1966 to July 29, 1966 J

and is to be paid in two $300.00 installments J or a total of $600.00 for the
period. This employment is conditioned upon the recreation plan for the use of
the Washington Township School grounds being approved by the Washington
Township School Board.
SECTION IV. That the Annual A ppropriation Ordinance, Ordinance
NO.~, passed r: €t3 {b}Afl ,( 7-, 1966, be and it hereby is amended
by adding the following in Section 2. A. General Fund Appropriation A-IL
Recreation Director Salary, $600.00.
SECTION V. That this ordinance be and the same hereby is, declared
f ..... to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the
t 1& public safety, peace, and general welfare, and that this ordinance shall take
