AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE VILLAGE
ADMINISTRATOR TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A "ROAD ROLLER":
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
C WHEREAS, the Vii lage of Dubl in IS in need of a Road
Roller to maintain efficient road repairs i n t he V i I I -

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
Vii lage of Dubl in, State of Ohio,~ of the elected
members concurring:
SECTION I. That the Village Administrator be, and hereby
IS, authorized and directed to advertise for bids for a
New Road Roller, said Road Roller having the following
specifications:
CONSTRUCTION: Sha II be welded plate 3/16" or greater
with 3000 pound working weight.
AX LES : King Pin and Rocker Bolts to be I and 1/2" or
larger with anti-friction bearings throughout.
ENGINE: Shall be minimum 14 H.P.
DRIVE: Shall be Hydromatic or equal
ELECTRICAL: Shall be a 12 volt system
ROLLS: Drive Roll 5/16" - rol led to form a cylinder
Steering Roll 3/8" rol led to form a cylinder
r Water tight with fil I source provided
CLEARANCE: Compress i on ro II to work within I" of wa I I or curb
'-- STEERING: Automatic- heavy duty
SCRAPERS: Water mats and cleaning bars
WATER TANK: Minimum 30 gal Ions
TRANS PORT: Hold down hooks to be provided-front and rear
SECTION 2. All bids shall be sealed and shall be fi led with
the Vi Ilage Administrator, Vii lage of Dubl in, Ohio, before
12:00 Noon IYJ All ~~ ).. , 1979, at which time said bids
sha II be opened. All bids shall be accompanied by bond or
certified check in the amount of $ 100.00. The Counci I of
the Vi I lage of Dubl in reserves the right to reject any and
all bids.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby IS,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the Imm-
ediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety
and for the further reason that this equipment is presently
needed to maintain efficient services in t he V i I I age, there-
fore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force Imm-
ediately upon its passage.
