AN ORDINANCE EMPLOYING AN "ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT" FOR A PROBATIONARY PER 100 OF [ S I X MONT HS : AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Vi I lage Council has, in the duties outlined in Or- dinance 32-72 passed August 21, 1972 relating to the Vii lage Ad- ministrator, included in Section 3 item "H" the right for the Adminlstrator to appoint employees, agents and assistants, with the approval of Counci I; and WHEREAS, the position has been duly advertised and applications have been submitted and interviews have been conducted; and WHEREAS, Counc i I is of the opinion that JOHN R. STRUTNER is a suitable person for such position; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: SECTION I . That JOHN R. STRUTNER be and HE hereby IS, employed as,an "Administrative Assistant" of the Village of Dubli , Ohio, and is to commence employment on the ~ day of March , 1979, and this six month probationary appointment is hereby con- firmed. ,.... L SECTION 2. The starting salary for JOHN R. STRUTNER IS hereby establ ished as $ 15,000.00 per year, and all ot he r fringe benefits such as Sick Leave, Vacat ion, etc. , shall be pre- scribed in Ordinance 61-77, "THE COMPENSATION PLAN" for the Vii- I age of Dub I in, Ohio, adopted by Council October 17, 1977. SECTION 3. That the duties of said "Administrative Assistant" wi II be (but not necessari Iy limited to) to assist the Vi Ilage Adm in i strator in a II duties described in Ordinance 32-72 {Ordin- ance establishing position of Vii lage Administrator} Section 3 items A through M. Said Assistant wil I also assist other Admini- strative Department Heads when so requested. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance be and the same hereby IS, de- clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the further reason that an "Administrative Assistant" is current I~c. needed to assist in the day to day operations to i nsure that~ i 1- lage wi II adequately and properly function; therefore this Ord- inance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its pas- sage.
