OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
Accepting application for annexation of territory.
r---'\ Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio:
I
~ SECTION 1. That the application of Earl C. Headlee, et al., for the
annexation of the following described territory in the County of Franklin,
Perry Township, and adjacent to the Village of Dublin, to-wit:
Situated in Township 2 North, Range 19 West, U. S. Military Lands,
and in the Township of Perry, County of Franklin, State of Ohio, and
I bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the intersection of the northerly right-of-
way line of Dublin-Granville Road (Ohio Route 161) and the westerly
line of a 6.262 acre tract of land deeded to Glenn L. and Villis V.
Sprinkle by deed of record in Deed Book 2236, Page 373, Recorder's
Office, Franklin County, Ohio, said point being 30 feet northerly
by perpendicular measurement from the centerline of Dublin-Granville
Road and said point also being at a corner of the existing corporation
line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio; thence northerly along the
westerly line of said 6.262 acre tract and the existing corporation
I line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a distance of 1, 109 feet to the
northwesterly corner of said 6.262 acre tract; thence easterly along
the northerly line of said 6.262 acre tract and along a portion of the
northerly line of a 20.838 acre tract of land deeded to Lyman Smith
and Frances S. Lathan by deed of record in Deed Book 1728; Page 287,
Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, and along the existing
C corporation line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a distance of 415
feet to the southwesterly corner of a 79.561 acre tract of land deeded
to Samuel McGurer by deed of record in Deed Book 1911, Page 34,
Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio; thence northerly along a
portion of the westerly line of said 79.561 acre tract and the existing
corporation line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a distance of 935.19
feet to a corner of a 59.615 acre tract of land which is a portion of
an 85.83 acre tract of land deeded to John 1. Thomas by deed of record
in Deed Book 1258, Page 597, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio,
said corner also being a corner to Lot No. 3 of a plat of lands of
Chauncey McGurer (Plat Book 12, Page 27, Recorder's Office, Franklin
County, Ohio); thence westerly along a southerly line of said 59.615
acre tract and a southerly line of said Lot No. 3 and along the existing
corporation line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a dis tance of 1, 330. 13
feet to the southwesterly corner of said 59.615 acre tract; thence
northerly along a portion of the westerly line of said 59.615 acre tract;
and along the existing corporation line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio,
a distance of 881. 70 feet to a corner of said existing corporation line,
said corner being 30 feet southerly by perpendicular measurement from
the centerline of Tuller Road; thence westerly along the existing
Corporation line of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and parallel with and
30 feet southerly by perpendicular measurement from the centerline of
Tuller Road a distance of approximately 753 feet to the easterly line
extended southerly of a 1. 820 acre tract of land deeded to Nevin E. and
Frances I. Fountain by deed of record in Deed Book 1594, Page 496,

bank of the Scioto River; thence northerly along the westerly line

109 feet; thence easterly along the southerly bank of said stream
and a northerly line of said 56.65 acre tract and a southerly line
of said 3.24 acre tract and a southerly line of a 17.37 acre tract
of land deeded to Allen E. McDowell by deed of record in Deed Book
2497, Page 590, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, a distance
of 100.2 feet (passing the southeasterly corner of said 3.24 acre
tract, the southwesterly corner of said 17.37 acre tract and the
centerline of Riverside Drive at 49.5 feet); thence easterly along
the southerly bank of said stream and the northerly lines of said
56.65 acre tract and the southerly lines of said 17.37 acre tract
the following four distances: 105 feet, 135.5 feet, 173 feet and
223.5 feet to a corner of said 56.65 acre tract and a corner of a

an accurate map of which territory, together with the Petition for its annex-
ation and other papers relating thereto, and a certified transcript of the
proceedings of the County Commissioners in relation thereto are on file with
the Clerk of Council of said Village, be and the same is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately and is declared to be an emergency measure for the general
we lfare of the Village.
