ORDIN ANCE NO. 07-63 OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
Ordinance requesting bids on purchase of new police cruiser and
, requesting bids on sale of present police cruiser.

Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio all
4 . five members present therein concurring:
-, SE CTION 1. That the legislative authority of the Village of Dublin,
'-.l finds that the present 1958 Plymouth police cruiser is unfit for public use and
further finds that the said Village of Dublin has need of another vehicle of
the same type and further finds that it will be for the best interests of the
Municipal Corporation that the sale of the obsolete and unfit existing police
cruiser be made simultaneously with the purchase of a new police cruiser.
Council further finds that it will be for the best interests of the Corporation
to have the selling price for the 1958 cruiser quoted against the purchase
price of the new vehicle and to consummate the sale and purchase by a single
contract with the lowest and best bidder to be determined by subtracting from

,-- SE CTION 2 . That the bid shall be based upon the bidder furnishing
t_ a 1964 model motor vehicle with at least the following features and accessorie

Transmission: Heavy Duty Manual 3 speed-
with heavy duty clutch
Replaceable oil filter - full flow
Heavy duty alternator 60 AMP minimum
Police calibrated speedometer
70 AMP battery - 12 volt
5 - 14" wheels with 800 by 14 tires
4 door sedan (model) - color: metalllic green
Imitation leather upholstery or naugahyde
Seat belts in front seat
Heavy duty 11 inch brakes
Electric 2 speed windshield wipers with washers
Standard outside spot light
I Heavy duty suspension system
Heavy duty seats and floor mats
Electric operated rear door locks
Back up lights

I that said cruiser is needed to provide adequate police protection in the
I . \ITllage of Dublin, Ohio; and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force .
