YfTIEREAS, Joshua M. Vance has satisfactorily served a six month Drobationary
~ period as a Policeman of the Village, and
lVlliREAS, the Mayor has made a final appointment of the said Joshua M. Vance
as a Policeman of the Village, and
vVHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that the said Joshua M. Vance is a
suitable Derson for such appointment:
NO'.'[, THEREFORE, SEpT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dub Un,
state of Ohio, 0 of the elected members concurring:
I SECTION 1. That the final appointment b;" the Hayor of Joshua M. Vance
as a Policeman of the Village of Dublin, Ohio be, and it hereby is
I confirmed.
\ SECTION 2. That the said Joshua H. Vance has agreed in writing to abide
by all provisions of Ordinance 16-73 relating to hours of work, rates of
pay, and other benefits of the Police Department of the Village of Dublin.

.. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be
an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of nhe public
peace and safe~y for the reason that the Villa~e has an immediate need for
an additional full~timB Policeman, and that this Ordinance shall take effeot
and be in force imr.ediately upon its passage.

Prior to the Final appointment of Joshua IA:eek Vance as a full-time
Policeman of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, it will be necessary ( as
C required by Ordinance) that litr. Vance sign the following statement:
I Joshua M. Vance hereby agree to abide by all provisions of Ordinance
16-73 adopted by Village Council on r.~rch 5, 1973, including retirement
at age 65 as required by Section eleven of said Ordinance.
