Ordinance confirming Appointment of a Reserve Policeman and
declaring an emergency.
0 ~mEREAS, the 1~yor has appointed Jack Monroe Sims as a Reserve
Policeman of the Village of Dublin, and
vTIIEREAS. Counoil is of the opinion that said person is suitable for
such appointment:
NOw, TTC;1EREFDREXT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
state of Ohio, of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the appointment by the IJayor of Jaok Honroe Sims as a
Reserve Policeman of the Village be, and he hereby' is~ootifirmecl.
Section 20 T>at this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be
an emergency~easure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
pence, health and safety for the reason that said person's services as a
Reserve Policeman are presently needed to protect the peace, health and
safety of the residents of the Village of Dublin, and that this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
