Ordinance appointing John Brown Deputy Marshall of the Village of
~l Dublin, Ohio. and setting the compensation of the said DepLt y Marshall.
"ttIt Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dubl41. Ohio. all
six (6) of the members elected herein concurring:
SECTION I. That pursuant to the authority given by the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Dublin. Ohio. and after the appointment and
recommendation of the Mayor. Council of the Village of Dublin. Ohio, does
hereby ratify. confirm and appoint John Brown as Deputy Marshall of the
Village of Dublin. Ohio and does hereby provide for his compensation as
Deputy Marshall.
SECTION II. That the said John Brown shall be paid at the rate of
$1.50 per hour for such time as he is on police duty as Deputy Marshall of
1 the Village of Dublin. Ohio.
; SECTION III. That the said Deputy Marshall shall only perform
police duty for which he is to be compensated upon the direction of the
Mayor of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. or in the Mayor's absence, by direction
of the President of Council and that the number of hours of actual police duty
shall not exceed 100 hours per year.
SECTION IV. That the said Deputy Marshall shall keep a written
record of his hours of employment and shall submit the same to the Clerk-
Treasurer of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. at weekly intervals.
SECTION V. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and
r ~ general welfare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. and for the reason that the

service and is appointing a Deputy Village Marshall and that this ordinance
shall take effect and be in force imrre diately upon its passage.
