ORDINANCE NO.
Ordinance ratifying employment of Village Solicitor for the year 196:1-
and determining the compensation of the Village Solicitor of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio,
-. Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, all six

. (6) of the members elected herein concurring:

SECTION 1, That Clayton W, Rose, Jr" Attorney at Law, is hereby
employed as Village Solicitor for the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the year
1962, and that said solicitor shall be paid t he sum of $200. 00 per year for
attending eight council meetings per year, That said solicitor be paid for the
preparation of ordinances, resolutions, memorandums, contracts and legal
opinion the sum of $12, 50 per hour, That said solicitor be paid the sum of
$12,50 per hour for attendance at Mayor's Court, Said solicitor shall be paid
for all trial work, the sum of $150, 00 per day, For legal services incident
to the prosecution or defense of legal proceedings, the sum of $12, 50 per
I': hour. For legal services incident to all public improvements, including the

..1,1 preparation of legal opinions on aspects of said improvement programs, the
preparation of all memorandum, contracts, correspondence and the like. and
for services in connection with the issuance of bonds and notes in payment
thereof, the sum of $200, 00 plus two (2) per cent of the total costs of said
improvements, That said solicitor shall bill the Village quarterly and shall
be paid quarterly for all services rendered as solicitor,
SECTION 2, 'That this ordinance be and the same is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and general wel-
fare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will
enable the Village to have the services of a solicitor and that this ordinance
'\ shall take effect and be in force immediately upon ~ts passage,
