I ORDINANCE NO. 017-61 OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIOo
An ordinance to increase the compensation of Harold Rose, Deputy Marshall,
and to establish a yearly salary for said Deputy Marshall and uniform allowanc
and minimum hours of work.
WHEREAS, Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, desires that the Village
~ Deput Marshall reside in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and desires to have the Deputy
Marshall employed on a yearly salary and be subject to call twenty four (24)
hours of the day,

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, five members
present therein and concurring:
SECTION 1. That Harold Rose, Deputy Marshall, be paid an annual salary
of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) per year beginning November 1, 1961;
that said annual salary be payable in twelve (12) equal monthly installments;
one half (1/2) of each monthly installment being due on the 15th and last day
of each month respectively.
, SECTION 2. That Harold Rose be subject to call twenty four (24) hours a
day and that his minimum work week shall be forty (40) hours per week.
SECTION 3. That Harold Rose shall have a vacation of two (2) weeks per
year at full salary at such time as the Mayor shall direct.
SECTION 4. That Harold Rose be paid the sum of One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($150.00) per year for uniform allowance and that said sum be paid One Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($150.00) in advance for the first year, and the sum of Seventy
Five Dollars ($75.00) each six months thereafter, beginning November 1, 1962.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance be and the same hereby is declared to be
, an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, public safety and general welfare of the public, for the reason that
the Village of Dublin, Ohio, will by this Ordinance have twenty four (24) hour
.. police service, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediate-
ly upon passage.
