ORDINANCE NO. 013-61
OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO.
Ordinance preventing the creation or causing of obnoxious odors,
dense smoke, fumes or offensive smells.
Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, <;-
members present therein concurring:
~ SECTION 1. No person, firm or corporation shall create or cause or suf"
I fer to be created, any noise, disturbance, vibration, dust, dense smoke,
fumes, gas, odors, noxious exhalations or offensive smells, which are or may
... become injurious to the health, comfort, repose, peace, safety or property of
J others. No person shall discharge, or permit to be discharged, urine, fecal
matter, contents of chemical commode, kitchen waste, laundry waste, slop sink
drainage, sewage or other septic tank waste, or other off~nsive waste onto
the surface of the ground or other open area or into any street, alley, road,
or open excavation.
SECTION 2. Whoever violates this Ordinance shall be fined not more than
Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) and each day that the nuisance is permitted
to continue after notification to the offender by th@ Mayor or the Building
Inspector, shall constitute a separate offense.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be and the same is hereby d@clared to be
an emergency measure for the public health and general welfare of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will protect and be for the
preservation of the publi~ health, safety and welfare of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio~ and the inhabitants thereof and that the Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force immediately upon its passage.
