AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, THE CLERK-

COMMUNICATION SERVICE PROVIDED BY PERRY TOWNSHIP

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of
Ohio, ( of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor, the Clerk-Treasurer and the
Village Administrator be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to
execute a modification of the contract by and between the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, and the Board of Trustees of Perry Township, Franklin County, Ohio,
for additional police communication service on the terms contained in the
agreement attached hereto, which is hereby made a part of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. Tha t this ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
r declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate

is immediate need for this additional police communication service; and that
this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.

MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT
This Modification of Agreement made and entered into by and between the
Board of Township Trustees of Perry Township, Franklin County, Ohio, a Board
of Township Trustees as defined in Chapter 505 of the Ohio Revised Code, some-
times hereinafter referred to as "Perry", and the Village of Dublin, Ohio, a
municipal corporation, sometimes hereinafter referred to as "Dublin":
WHEREAS, the parties hereto entered into an agreement for police
communication service, which said agreement was entered into on March 19,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to modify the terms of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises contained herein:
1. Perry agrees to participate in the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated
Data System, commonly known as LEADS. Perry agees to cause to be installed
at its police communications center the necessary equipment for participation in
the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System.
2. Perry further agrees to make the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated
Data System available for use for the Dublin Police Department.
3. The Village of Dublin agrees that, in consideration of Perry's
participation in the Ohio Law Enforcement Automated Data System, it will pay to
Perry the sum of $55.00, said amount representing one-third of the installation
