I ORDINANCE NO. 02-61 OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO.
Ordinance accepting the bid of Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet Inc., to
furnish a one ton truck with dump body and snow plow to the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, and to accept as a trade-in the present dump truck and declaring an emer
gency.
(' Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, all
\.: six members present therein and concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid submitted by Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet Inc.,
I for furnishing a truck with dump body and snow plow, in accordance with the
specifications contained in the duly advertised legal notice be, and is hereby
accepted and also accepted is the bid of said company for the purchase of the
present dump truck, and is the lowest and best bid being received therefor,
being determined by substracting from the selling price of the vehicle to be
purchased the purchase price offered to said Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the
trade-in.
SECTION 2. That the Clerk of said Village be, and is hereby author-
ized and directed to pay to Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet Inc., the sum of Two Thou-
sand Nine Hundred Forty Five Dollars ($2,945.00) upon delivery of said one
ton dump truck with snow plow and receive title thereto.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance be and the same hereby is declared
to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public peace, safety and general welfare for the reason that said truck is
needed to provide adequate trash and sanitary collection and to provide a snow
plow for use in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and that this Ordinance shall tak
effect and be in force immediately upon passage.
