ORDINANCE NO. . VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19-68
CHANGING THE AMOUNT OF THE FEE TO BE
COLLECTED BY THE BUILDING INSPECTOR FOR
A BUILDING PERMIT ISSUED FOR A PUBLIC
BUILDING
[J BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of

Ohio, of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19-68 of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, be and it hereby is amended as follows:
(a) The following language is deleted therefrom:
"The fee collected by the Building Inspector for a building
permit issued for any'public building" as defined in
R. C. 3781. 06 shall be $100.00. "
(b) The following language is added thereto:
"The fee collected by the Building Inspector for a building
permit issued for any "public building" as defined in
R. C. 3781. 06 shall be determined according to the fee
schedule for non-public buildings except that the fee for
such "public building" shall not exceed $100.00."
) SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the earlliest period allowed by law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1-54
RELIEVING THE VILLAGE BUILDING INSPECTOR
C Oft HIS DUTY IN CERTAIN CASES TO MAKE THE
INSPECTIONS REQUIRED IN SAID BUILDING REGU-
LA TIONS; DEFINING HIS DUTIES IN SUCH CASES;
SETTING THE FEES REQUIRED FOR A BUILDING
PERMIT IN THOSE CASES; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED by the council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, of the members thereto concurring:
SECTION 1: I

That Ordinance No. 1-54, "Building Regulations of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio" be and it is hereby .amended by adding the following:
"The Building Inspector shall not undertake the approval and
. inspections required 'by Section 3781. 04 of the Ohio Revised Code

r and other statutes of the State of Ohio provided. however. that
C the Ohio Division of Workshops and Factories shall make such

approval and inspections. In the case of the construction within

the Village of any "public building" as defined in RC ~781. 06,

"
the Building Inspector shall be relieved of his duty to \ make the
inspections otherwise required bY' these regulations. p~ovided
that the inspections provided by the statutes of the sdte of Ohio
,

shall be made by the Ohio Division of Workshops and 'Factories.

"No permit or certificate required by these regulations' shall be
issued for any such "public building" until the buildinll, inspector
!

r is given satisfactory proof that Section 3781.04 of the \ Ohio
Revised Code and the other statutes of the State of Oh.io have
\
\.-, been complied with. Nor shall the Building Inspector issue such
t
permit or certificate unless satisfied that such "public building"
is, or when constructed, will be, in conformity with tlie Village
Zoning Code and other ordinances of the Village.

In the case of an application for a permit for such a public
building, or any other type of building, the building inspector
shall require a set of plans for such building, includ ing a plot
r plan and also physical tJYi:d~BCG of lot lines.

flNothing herein shall be construed so as to relieve persons,
firms or corporations who desire to construct such Ilpublic t

buildings It within the Village from ::naking application for and i

being issued a building permit as provided in these regulations
before commencement of construction.
liThe Fee collected by the, building inspector for a building permit

of the public peace, health, safety and welfare for the reason
