ORDINANCE NO. 013-60, VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO.

I An Ordinance to provide and employ a Village Engineer.

I Be It Ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio; all
I six of the members elected herein concurring:
SECTION 1. That H. G. Dill Company, consulting engineers, are hereb
t . employed as Village Engineers on a consulting basis for the Village of Dublin
.., Ohio, for the balance of the year 1960, and for the year 1961, and that said
H. G. Dill Company shall be paid for their services authorized by Council for
~ngineering, drafting, or surveying, for their diem fees as follows:
Engineer $6.00 per hour
Surveyor $5.00 per hour
Assistant $3050 per hour
Inspector $3.00 per hour
Three Man survey party $10.00 per hour
Four Man survey party $12.50 per hour
Two Man survey party $ 7.50 per hour
Transportation $0009 per mile

I billed and paid for by the Village of Dublin, Ohio, at the actual cost to

H. G. Dill Company. The Mayor of the Village of Dublin is authorized to
enter into a contract with the H. G.. Dill Company on the basis set forth in
this Ordinance and said contracts shatl further provide that the HD G. Dill
Company at th~ end of any period covered by the contract or by the ordinance
to turn over to the Village of Dublin, Ohio, all blueprints, drawings, maps
and other engineering data concerning the Village of Dublin, Ohio, which
shall have been made or is in the possession of the consulting engineer or
in the custody or control at the time of the termination of the employment
by the engineer. The contract shall further provide that the consulting
engineer keep an accurate record of all the engineering data which has come
into the possession of the consulting engineer prior to the commencement of
n the contract or comes into the possession of the engineer during the conM
~., tinuance of the contract. Said contract shall further provide for a mutual
cancellation by either the Village or the Engineer upon ninety days written
notice. The contract shall further provide that payment is to be made to
the engineer by the Village within thirty days from the receipt of invoice.

I SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be and the same is hereby declared

I to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and general welfare
I of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will enable
(, the Village to have the services of a Village Engineer and this Ordinance
(.p shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
