ORDINANCE CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT OF RESERVE POLICEMAN AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, The ).tlyor has appointed James S'. Hathaway

as Reserve Polioeman of the Vill&ge of Dublin, and
WHEREAS, Counoi1 is of the opinion that said person is suitable for
suoh appointment =
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Counoil of the Willage of Dublin,
S'h8:te of Oh. io , S of the elected members ooncurring:
SECTION 1. That the appointment by the Wl.yor of J &me s S. Hathaway
as a R~serve Polioeman of the Village be, and he hereby is confirmed.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinanoe be, and the same hereby is, deolared to
be an emergenoy measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the
publio peace, health, and safety for the reason that said person's
servioes as a Reserve Polioeman are presently needed to proteot the
".... peaoe, health and safety of the residents of the V1.11lllge of Dublin, and
... that this Ordinanoe shall take effeot and be in foroe immediately upon
its passage.
