AN ORDINANCE RAISING THE COMPENSATION OF HAROID ROSE, CHIEF OF POLICE, OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED by the Counoil of the Village of Dublin,State of Ohio, ~ ,... of the elected members conourring; ...... SECTION 1. That from and after January 1, 1973, Harold Rose shall be paid a salary of . 7,860.00 per year for his performing duties as Chief of Police, of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. SECTION 2. That the Clerk-Treasurer shall pay the said Chief Harold Rose said salary in equal semi-monthly installment s on the fifteenth and the last day of each month. SECTION 3. That in addition to the sum speoified in Seotion 1. above, the Clerk-Treasurer shall in further oonsideration of his servioes to the Village pay the full premium of a basio medio~l and hospitalization insurance policy for the benefit of the said Harold Rose as agreed upon by the Mayor. SECTION 4. That the said Harold Rose shall be subjeot to oall 24 hours a day and that his minimum work week shall be 40 hours per week. SECTION 5. That the said. Harold Rose shall have a vaoation of three (3) weeks pe r year, at full salary, at suoh time as t he Mayor may d treot . SECTION 6. That the said Harold Rose shall further be entitled to siok leave with pay, but not to exoeed two and one-half(2 1/2) days times the number of months of his 8e"ioettotthe7Vili~~e, and his right to siok leave with pay shall not acoumulate beyond a twelve month period. That this ordinanoe shall superoede the previous ordinance setting -... the oompensation of Harold Rose as Village Chief of Polioe and Street Super- intendent, and aU provisions of said previous ordinanoe inconsistent herEnfith are hereby repealed. SECTION 8. That this ordinanoe be, and the same hereby is, deolared to be an emergency measure neoessary for the immediate preservation of the pub1io peaoe and safety for the reason that it is neoessary in order to maintain and improve the polioe proteotion of the Village, and that this ordinance shall ta effect January 1, 1973.
