SECTION 1. That whereea, the Council has heretofore'~r ocdinana<< ~dt6~ ep-
tember 18, 1958, provided for the abolishment of the separate positions of
Village Clerk and Village Treasurer and has oaused a oertified oopy of the
name to be served on the Board of Eleotions of Franklin County, Ohio for
plaoing on the ballot for the 1959 general eleotions the eleotive position
of oombined Village Clerk-Treasurer and
~Thereas, said ordinanoe did not provide for the rate of pay of suoh
newly oreated position, it is deemed neoessary to establish said rate ct
pay prior to said general eleotion, the rate of pay of said oombined offioes
shall be Six Hundred Dollars (~600.00) per annum, payable at the rate of
Fifty Dollars (~50.00) per month on and after the effeotive date of the
taking of offioe by the party so eleoted.
SECTION 2. That this ordinanoe be and the name is deolared to be an
emergenoy measure neoessary for the general welfare of the Village of
Dublin and the orderly prooess of government for the reason that the
foregoing establishment of rate of pay should be in effect prior to and
() well in advanoe of said 1959 eleotions, and.that this ordinanoe shall
" take effeot and be in foroe immediately upon it's passage in aooordanoe
