ORDINANCE NO. 01.. 59 VILLAGE OF DUBLIN j OHIO -
ORDINANCE RATIFYING EMPLOYMENT OF VILLAGE SOLICIroR FOR THE YEAR 1959,
DEn'ERMINING THE COMPENSATION OF THE VILLAGE SOLICITOR OF THE VILLAGE
OF OOBLIN, OHIO AND DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, concurred

SECTION 1. That Richard H. Brandon, attorney at law, 8m Riverside
Drive, Powell, Ohio is hereby employed and has been employed effective February 2,
1959 for the balance of the calendar year 1959, and that said solicitor shall be
paid the sum of $150.00 per year for ordinary services as Bolictor including in-
formal opinions and attending regular monthly council meetings of not less than
eipt (8) per year. That said solicitor be paid additional compensation as follow~:
(a) For the preparation of ordinances, resolutions, memorandums,
contracts, and legal opinions at the rate of $10.00 per, hour.
(b) For attendance at proceedings in the Mayor's court at the rate
of $10.00 per hour.
(c) For legal services incident to the prosecution or defense of
n legal proceedings, at the rate of $10.00 per hour for office
work and $125.00 per day for trial work in any court of record.

That said solicitor shall bill the Village quarterly and shall be paid
quarterly for all services rendered as solicitor.

SECTION 2. That this ordinance be and the same is hereby declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and general welfare of
the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing ratification of
employment and schedule of payment for legal services will enable the Village to
obtain and retain the services of a solicitor and that this ordinance shall take
......... effect and be in force inmediately upon its passage.
