ORDINANCE NO. o 3,sf VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO.
Ordinance appointing William Jones as temporary policeman.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, all
six of the members elected herein concurring:

SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority given by the Code of

..I Ordinances of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, Council of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, does hereby provide and create the position of temporary policeman.
SECTION ~. That said temporaT,V policeman shall devote his full
time to the duties required by said position and shall be, in addition, sub-
ject to call at all times.
SECTION 3. Said temporary policeman shall be compensated at the
rate of $1.15 per hour for such time as he has been on duty as hereinafter
designated.
SECTION 40 Said temporary policeman shall furnish his mvn uniform,
badg~,~gun and other necessary equipment.
SECTION 5. Said temporary policeman shall only be employed for
'- such time as there is a need for police service in the Village 0 f Dublin

I when the policemen or the deputy marshall of the Village of Dublin is not on

the active payroll because of sickness, suspension, disciplinary suspensions
or the like.
SECTION 6. Said temporary policeman shall keep a lvritten record
of his hours of his employment and shall submit the same to the Clerk of the
Village of Dublin, Ohio, at weekly intervals 0
SECTION 7.. This council hereby ratifies and confirms the appoint-
ment of William Jones and his employment as temporary policeman and ratifies
and confirms and orders the pa;yment to said William Jones of the sum of

SECTION Bd That this ordinance be and the same is hereby declared
to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and general welfare
