ORDINANCE NO.. o :<. - a I- VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO..
Ordinance ratifying employment of Village Solicitor for the year
1958 and determining the compensation of the Village Solicitor of the
Village of Dublin, Ohio.
/"'" Be it ordained by the Cou~cil of the Village of Dublin, Ohio;
I all six of the members elected herein concurring:
-, SECTION 1. That Russel S. Welch, Attorney at Law, is hereby
employed as Village Solicitor for the Village of Dub~in, Ohio, for the year
1958, and that ,said solicitor shall be paid the sum of $150..00 per year
for ordinary services as solicitor including informal opinions and for
attending approximately eight council meetings per year. That said solicitor
be paid for the preparation of ordinances, resolutions, memorandums, contracts
and legal opinions the sum of $10.00 per hour. That said solicitor be paid
the sum of $10.00 per hour for attendance at Mayorts Court. Said solicitor
shall be paid for all trial work, the sum of $125.00 per day. For legal
services incident to the prosecution or defense of legal proceedings, the
sum of $10.00 per hour. For legal services incident to all public improve-
r. ments, including the preparation of legal opinions on aspects of said im-

, I provement programs, the preparation of all memorandum, contracts, correspond-

ence and the like, and for services in connection ~~th the issuance of bonds
, ,
and notes in payment thereof, the sum of $100.00 plus t~o (2) per cent of
the total' costs of said improvements. That said solicitor shall bill the
Village quarterly and shall be paid quarterly for all services rendered as
solicitor.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance be and the same is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and gen~
eral welfare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio! for the reason that the fore-
going ,vill enable the Village to have the services of a solicitor and that thi
ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
