Ordinance appointing Howard ~ons as Policeman.

I \ Be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, three-
,
~ fourths of the members elected herein concurring:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority given by the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, Council of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, does hereby provide and create the position of Policeman.
SECl'ION 2. Said Policeman shall be under the immediate super-
vision of the Deputy Marshall of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and shall devote
'such time to his duties as may be requested and demanded by said Deputy Marshal 0
SIDl'ION 3. Said Policeman shall be compensated at the rate of
$1.75 per hour for such time as he has been on duty as hereinbefore designated.
SEnTION 4. Said Policeman shall keep a written record of his
hours of employment and shall submit the same to' the Clerk of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio at weekly intervals.

SECTION 5. Said Policeman shall furnish his own uniform, badge,

", gun and other necessary police equipment.
SECTION 6. That this ordinance be and the same is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public safety and general
welfare of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, for the reason that the foregoing will
enable the Village to have police service and that this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
