AN ORDINANCE A UTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CLERK
TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A NEW DUMP TRUCK; SETTING
FORTH SPECIFICATIONS; and DECLARING EMERGENCY
WHEREAS. the Village is in need of a new dump truck;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of

SECTION 1. That the Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and
I directed to advertise for bids for a new dump truck. cab and chassis with
I dump body. to be used with front mounted snow-plow and rear mounted

design (to allow mounting of spreader box), hoist to be 8 inch I
cylinder twin arm class No. Fifty. The color shall be forest green 11<

installed in accordance with state code; mud flaps to be furnished I

I 29. Delivery date to be specified in bid, and must be within thirty (30) I
I days after acceptance of bid. I
I A 11 bids shall be sealed and shall be filed with the ,Clerk of the Village of I
I Dublin, Ohio, before 12:00 Noon EST, I/v G. 2 G , 1972, at which I
time said bids shall be opened. A 11 Bids shall be accompanied by bond or i
certified check in the amount of $100.00. The Council of the Village of Dublin I
reserves the right to reject any and all bids. ,

SECTION 2. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, !
I
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate i
preservation of the public health and safety for the reason that a new dump
truck is presently needed to protect the health and safety of the residents of
the Village, and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediateJty
upon its passage. I
