29-72 Ordinance ORDINA NCE NO. A 1, 17- , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO ORDINANCE A UTHORIZING AND DIRECTING MA YOR AND CLERK-TREASURER TO HIRE THOMAS PRESLEY AS A FULL- TIME EMPLOYEE OF THE VILLAGE; SETTING HIS COMPENSATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of ~/ Ohio, j of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer be, and they I hereby are, authorized and directed to hire Thomas Presley as a fulltime i employee of the Village of Dublin, Ohio. , . 1 . i SECTION 2. That in consideration of his full time services to the I I. Village, the Clerk-Treasurer shall pay the said Thomas Presley the sum of I i , I , , $140.00 per week. : " ! d i II SECTION 3. That in addition to the sum specified in Section 2 abov~, 'I '! the Clerk-Treasurer shall in further consideration of his services to the I ! Village, pay one-half of the premium of a basic medical and hospitalization I Ii insurance policy for the benefit of said Thomas Presley as agreed upon by the I Mayor. J ! I I SECTION 4. That the said Thomas Presley shall be subject to call I !' I , 'I 24 hours a day for snow removal and emergencies, and that his work week i shall be 40 hours per week. I I I I , I SECTION 5. That upon completion of twelve months of service to thf I Village, the said Thomas Presley shall be entitled to one week vacation time i I with pay. Said vacation is to be taken at a time agreed to between the said I I Thomas Presley and the Mayor. ! ~ ! ! I , II SECTION 6. That the said Thomas Presley shall further be entitled I II to sick leave with pay, but not to exceed one-half day times the number of i I months of his service to the Village. Thallhe said Thomas Presley shall perform his duties' II under the direction of the Street Superintendent and the Mayor. i , I ! i I SECTION 8. The employment of Thomas Presley may he terminated by Council at any time upon two weeks notice. I I ' SECTION 9. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is, ! I declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservatiFn of the public peace and safety for the reason that the Village has an immediate I need for an additional full time employee and that this ordinance shall take I I effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
