ORDINANCE A UTHORIZING CONTRACT FOR PLANS AND
SPE CIFICA TIONS; DETERMINING TO MAKE APPLICATION
TO THE BOARD OF CD UNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN
COUNTY, OHIO, FOR FUNDS AVAILABLE PURSUANT TO
SECTIONS 4504.01 et. seq. OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE TO
PAY THE COST OF PURCHASING AND ERECTING TRAFFIC
SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF U. S. ROUTE 33 (STATE
ROUTE 161) AND FRANTZ ROAD WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF
DUBLIN; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
II BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of

That the Mayor and the Clerk-Treasurer be, and
II SECTION 1.
! they hereby are, authorized and directed to contract with George Butzer for

the preparation and delivery to the Village of plans and specifications for
I
I traffic signals at the intersection of U. S. Route 33 (State Route 161) and
I
I
I Frantz Road at a cost to the Village not to exceed $125.00.

ii SECTION 2. That the Village of Dublin, Ohio, shall make

I application to the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Ohio,
I
I for funds available pursuant to Sections 4504.01 et seq. of the Ohio Revised
I
I Code to pay the cost of purchasing and erecting traffic signals at the
I
intersection of U. S. Route 33 (State Route 161) and Frantz Road within the i
I
Village of Dublin, Ohio, in accordance with the plans and specifications
I prepared by George Butzer.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized
I and directed to sign the application mentioned in Section 2 above on behalf
of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, and to submit therewith a copy of the plans
and specifications prepared by George Butzer, and a copy of this
I ordinance.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public safety for the reason that traffic signals at the
intersection of U. S. Route 33 (State Route 161) and Frantz Road are
presently needed in order to protect the safety of the residents of the
Village of Dublin, Ohio, and that it is necessary to secure funds available
pursuant to Sections 4504. 01 et seq. of the Ohio Revised Code for this

purpose, and that this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
upon its passage. i
