In order to do this, the Police Division requires Council authorization to change traffic patterns and parking regulations in Muirfield Village to include implementing one -way traffic on designated streets and prohibiting parking on a variety of streets. This request is generally consistent with last year's plan, with the addition of one item. We are requesting authorization for the creation of temporary fire lanes on Strathmore Lane and Dunsinane Drive on the fire hydrant side of the roadways. This change will allow us to maintain a safe and efficient passage way for vehicles and pedestrians in both these areas. Resolution 26 -10 will authorize the Police Division to once again implement a workable traffic and public safety plan to accommodate the large volume of traffic and spectators for a signature event in the City of Dublin. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Resolution 26 -10 at the April 26th Council meeting.
