AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
A 1.2068 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, FEE SIMPLE
INTEREST, FROM MVA REAL ESTATE GROUP, LTD.,
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF TUTTLE ROAD
IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN,
STATE OF OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City of Dublin ( "City "), in cooperation with the City of
Columbus, is preparing to widen Tuttle Crossing Boulevard from Emerald
Parkway to Wilcox Road to improve related traffic circulation; and
WHEREAS, said improvement requires the City to obtain a fee simple interest
in and to the premises described in the attached Exhibit "A" located with the
City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement to purchase a 1.2068
acre, more or less, fee simple interest for the widening of Tuttle Crossing
Boulevard for $380,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council, of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, to of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Real Estate
Purchase Contract and any necessary closing documents related to the
acquisition of the 1.2068 acre, more or less, fee simple interest and to pay any
related costs.
Section 2 . This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and
welfare. The reason for such necessity is that the prompt improvement of
Tuttle Crossing Boulevard is necessary to improve traffic circulation and
relieve traffic congestion for the citizens of Dublin. Therefore, this ordinance
shall go into immediate effect.
