AN ORDINANCEADOPTINGAND ENACTINGA
SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
FORTHE CITYOF DUBLIN, OHIO
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporative of Cincinnati, Ohia has
completed the current supplement ~5-2Q} to the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Dublin which captains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature
enacted subsequent to the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, American legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the
revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are
based on or make reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Legislative Authority to accept these updated
sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the current supplement ~5-20} to the Dublin Code of
Ordinances as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of
Cincinnati, Ohio, and as attached hereto, be and the same hereby is adopted
by reference as if set out in its entirety.
SECTION ~. Thatsuch supplementshall be deemed published asof theday
of its adoption and approval by the Legislative Authority, and the Clerk of
Council is hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplement into the
copy of the Code of Ordinances kept on file in the Office of the Clerk of
Council.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is effective upon passage, in accordance
with Section 4.44(a}fib} of the Revised Charter.

RE: Ordinance 08-07 -Code Update
SUMMARY:
The attached ordinance adopts a supplement (S-20) to the Dublin Code of
Ordinances. This supplement includes local legislation approved by City Council
through December 31, 2006 and State legislation current through October 16, 2006.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that Council dispense with the public hearing and approve
Ordinance 08-07. (Emergency passage is not necessary, as the Charter provides
that a recodification is effective upon adoption.)
