' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
~-- REGULATION OF TRAFFIC IN THE
MUIRFIELD SUBDIVISION DURING
THE RYDER CUP TOURNAMENT
WHEREAS, the Ryder Cup Tournament is scheduled at the Muirfield Village
Golf Club from September 21, 1987 through September 27, 1987.
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Dublin City Council that such traffic
would be better controlled, thereby assuring the health, safety and
welfare of City residents, by regulating traffic on certain roads in
Muirfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That Carnoustie Drive be one way between the hours of 7:00
A.M. and 6:00 P.M., on Friday, September 25, Saturday, September 26,
and Sunday, September 27, and parking will be permitted on Carnoustie
Drive on those days; that there be no parking on Muirfield Drive
between Brand Road and Whittingham Drive except as authorized by the
Manager and Chief of Police of the City of Dublin, Ohio, during the
hours of 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. from Monday, September 21, 1987 through
Sunday, September 27, 1987.
Section 2. That in the further interest of the public health, safety
and welfare there shall be no parking by Tournament attendees and others
associated with the Tournament on non-Collector streets and cul-de-sacs
in Muirfield.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
