A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE FILING
AN APPLICATION FOR FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE UNDER THE LAND AND
WATER CONSERVATION FUND ACT
WHEREAS, The Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (Public
Law 99-578) provides financial assistance to the State of Ohio for outdoor
recreation purposes, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin, Ohio desires financial assistance under
the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act program for the Dublin Spring
Park
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the Council of the Village of Dublin hereby approves
filing an application for Land and Water Conservation Fund Act financial
assistance
Section 2. That the Parks and Recreation Director is hereby authorized
and directed to execute and file an application with the Department of
Natural Resources, State of Ohio and to provide all information and
documentation required in said application for submission to the U.S.
Department of the Interior
Section 3. That the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio hereby does
agree to obligate the funds required to satisfactorily complete the
proposed project and thus become eligible for Land and Water Conservation
Fund Act financial aid of up to 50 percent of the actual allowable reim-
bursement cost.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
