Meyer, Jr., the Agent for the petitioners; and WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior to said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the territory proposed for annexation: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the Village of Dublin will provide the following municipa~ services for the 243± acres in Washington Township-Franklin County upon the annexation of said area to the Village of Dublin, Ohio: POLICE. The Village provides Police service on a full twenty-four hour basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The Village also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. FIRE. Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord Township in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. ~, SANITATION. Residential refuse collection services are contracted by the Village and would be available. STREET MAINTENANCE. The Village has a Street Maintenance Department which provides excellent service in the area of street and road maintenance. SECTION 2. The Village has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with the City of Columbus and the subject property is within said service areas, and conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide WATER, and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the Village will have the ability to service the area.
