TO SET FORTH A STATEMENT OF MUNICIPAL
', SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE AREA
~, IN A PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF 11.677±
ACRES FROM WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP,
FRANKLIN COUNTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
DUBLIN, OHIO, AS REQUIRED BY
SECTION 709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED
CODE.
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of 11.677± acres from Washington
Township was duly filed by Luis G. Weil, the agent for the petitioner;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County
Commissions; and
WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code requires that, prior
to said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement in-
dicating what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide
~ to the territory proposed for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 5 of the elected members concurring:
Y SECTION ~. That the Village of Dublin will provide the following
municipal services for the 11.677± acres in Washington Township-
Franklin County upon the annexation of said area to the Village of
Dublin, Ohio:
Police. The Village provides police service on a full twenty-four
hour basis and communications are contracted from Perry Township. The
Village also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities.
Fire. Fire protection is currently provided by well staffed departments
in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County and Concord
Township in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with
other municipalities.
Sanitation. Residential refuse collection services are contracted by
the Village and would be available.
Street Maintenance. The Village has a Street Maintenance Department
which provides

SECTION 2. The Village has SEWER and WATER service area contracts with
the City of Columbus and the subject property is within said service
area and, conditioned on the ability of the City of Columbus to provide
WATER and to provide sufficient SEWERAGE disposal capacity, the Village
will have the ability to service the area.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.

Pursuant to Section 709.03 of the Ohio Revised Code, you
are hereby notified that on February 27, 1987, the undersigned as
agent for the petitioning property owners, John F. Rowers, Raymond
J. Albert and Theodore H. Wolf, filed a Petition for Annexation to the
Village of Dublin of 11.677 acres more or less, in the Township of
Washington with the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County,
Ohio.
A copy of said Petition for Annexation, with a full and
accurate description and a plat of said territory is attached to
this Notice.
Further, you are hereby notified that pursuant to Section
709.031 the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Ohio on
March lU, 1987, adopted a resolution, Number 255-87, setting a hearing
on said Petition for Annexation referred to above to be held in the
Franklin County Commissioners' Hearing Room, 3rd Floor, Franklin County
Administration Building, 410 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio, at 10:00
o'clock A.M. on May 6, 1987.

Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, Township of S4ash-
ington, in Virginia Military Survey No. 6748 and being all of an
original 9.139 acre tract of land conveyed to Theodore H. Wolf,
John F. Bowers and Raymond J. Albert by deed of record in Deed Book
2735, Page 331, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, and a portion
of U.S. Route 33 and Ohio Route 161 and bounded and described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in an existing corporation line of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, as said corporation line was established by Village
Ordinance No. 37-81, at the northeast corner of said original 9.139
acre tract and at a southeast corner of a 17.692 acre tract of land
conveyed as Tract 2 to Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University
by deed of record in Deed Book 3674, Page 787, Recorder's Office,
Franklin County, Ohio, said point being easterly a distance of approxi-
mately 76 feet from a point in the north line of said original 9.139
acre tract, in a south line of said 17.692 acre tract and in the west
