be stored and safely kept by Owner and no rental or storage charges therefore shall be made or assessed by Owner.

IO. WARRANTIES: Conhactor shall not be rosponsible for damage or delay resulting from an Act of God riots, civil commotions or disorders, delays or defaults by car

13. PERMIT FEES: All pemiits and fces are the Ownv's responsibility unless otherwise specified in writing. - Owner undersiands that Conhac[or may be tequited by
law W comply with aew and/or existing energy/btilding codes. Akhough ContrecWr shall make reasonable efforts W comply with these rogulations end include them in this
original Contract. Conhactor dces not assume any responsibility foc any items requested by inspectors or govemment depactments that aze not specificalty outlined in t6e
speciScetions of this Contrect.
14. CODE ISSLIES: ConhacWc will not be responsible for any areas of the home thaz were existing or not contracted for if they do not mee[ cutrent codes. Once inspec-
tors are on the job they may point out other areas of the home that do not meet cuaent code. If flus happens it is the Owner's tesponsibility to correc[ these issues so that a
finai approval can be given. In this event the Owner agrees not to hold up eny payments to Conhactor while these other issues are resolved.
15. WATERPROOFING AND WATER DAMAGE: Contractor does not apply any damp-proofing or wateo-proofing of any kind. It is the cusmmer's responsi-
bility to make sure any needed sealants are applied prior to contractor starting work. ConVacWr is not tesponsible for any weter damage unless it was caused solely by the
negligence of Conaactor.
16. ALARM SYSTEMS: Contractor will try to work azound existing alarm systems es best we cen. There may be situations where the Owner may need to contact the'v
alatm company to rewire or reinstall systems that were affected by t6e retnodel project. Owner will be respoosible for any and all cosfs payable to the alazm company.
17. NIISCELLANEOUS: Owner authorizes Contractor w contact Ownu from time w time st the above phone number(s) and e-mail address. Contractor nserves the
right of refusal on all agreements within fiftcen (IS) days of Owner's acceptance. If Contractor exercises its right of rofusal, all deposits will be retumed within 10 days
of date of refusal. Any controversy or claim arising out of or rolating to this aBeement, or breach thereof, shall be settled by arbihation m accordance with Constcuctioa
Industry Arbitration niles of the American Arbitration Associatioq and judgnent upon award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any Court having jurisdiction

13. PERMIT FEES: All pemiits and fces are the Owner's responsibility mless otherwise specified in writing. Owner understands that Contractor may be required by
law to comply with new and/or existing energy/building codes. Akhougit Contractor shall make reesonable efforts W comply with these regularions and include them in this
original Contract. Contractot dces not assume any responsibility for any items cequested by inspectors or govemmert depaAments that are not specifically ouUined in the
specifications of t6is Contcact.
14. CODE ISSLTES: Contractor will not be responsibie for any azeas of the home that were existing or not conhaeted for if thry do not meet eutrent codes. Once inspec-
tors ere on ihe job they may point out other areas of the home that do aot meet cumnt code. If t]ils happens it is the Owner's responsibility to cosect these issues so that a
final-approval can be given. In this event the Owner agrees eot to hold up any payments to Con4actor while theu othea issues are tesolved.
15. WATERPROOFING AND WATER DAMAGE: Contractoc does not apply any damp-proofing or wata-proofing of any kind. It is the customer's responsi-
biliry to make sure any needed sealants are applied prior to conhactor starting work. Conhactor is not responsible for any water damage unless it was caused solely by the
negligence oFContractor.
16. ALARM SYSTEMS: Contractor will try to work around existing alarm systems es best we cen. There may be situatious where ihe Owner may need to coatact their
alazm company to rewire or reinstall systems that were affected by the remodel project. Owner will be respoosible for any and all costs payable to the atarm company.
17. MISCELLANEOUS: Owner euthorizes Contractor to contact Owner from time w time at thc above phone numbec(s) and e-mail address. Contractor reserves the
right of refusal on all agreemenu wifliin fifteen (15) days of Owner's acceptance. If Contractor exercises iu right of refusal, all deposits will be retumed within 10 days
of date of refusal. Any controversy or claim erising out of or relating to this aBeement, or breach thereof, shall be settled by azbihalion in accordence with Construc[ion
