The floor trusses are supplied by NoMh Santiam Lumber and are LP (Louisiana Pacific) design, out of the booJk The following items are required for code compliance, but are not necessarily covered in detail in the construction documents. This list is a reminder to the design professional and contractors of issues which are to be satisfactorily clealt with in the field. Item 1. OBC 109.2 Lot line markers required. Before any work is started in the construction of a building or an addirion to a building to which the rules of the Board are applicable under Section 101.2, all boundary lines shall be clearly marked at their intersections with permanent markers or with markers which are offset at a distance which is of record with the owner. Item 2. OBC 106.3.1 Approval of construction documents. When the construction documents have been deternuned to confarm to the applicable provisions of the rules of the Board in accordance with the procedures set forth in Secrion 105.3.1, the building official shall endorse or stamp such plans as approved. One set of constrvction documents shall be kept by the building official. The other set(s) shall be returned to the applicant, kept at the work site and shall be open for inspection by the building official or the building officiaPs designated representative. Item 3. OBC 105.7.2 Posting. This approved set is to be submitted for full review by the City of Dublin at 5800 Shier Rings Road. Item 2. The governing code is OBC 2005 and Chapters 2-10 of the Residential Code of Ohio. Item 3. The note on SheetA5.01 calls for "complete ftreblocking at unit separation walls": This is to be field coordinated by the City ofDublin building inspector and the framing contractor. Item 4. The drafting symbol (B/f15.01) indicates a rigid insulation board, which is exposed to the crawl space. The material used is to meet R314.1.1 requirements or be a non- combustible material as indicated on the outside walL Item 5. R309.2 Separation required. The garage shall be separated from the residence and its attic area by not less than'/:-inch (12.7 mm) gypsum board applied to the garage side. Garages beneath habitable rooms shall be separated from all habitable rooms above by not less than 5/8-inch (15.9 mm) Type X gypsum board or equivalent. Where the separation is a floor-ceiling assembly, the structure supporting the separation shall also be protected by not tess than'/:-inch (12.7 mm) gypsum board or equivalent. Item 6. R317.3 Rated penetrations. Penetrations of wall or floor/ceiling assemblies required to be fre-resistance-rated in accordance with Section R317.1 or R317.2 shall be protected in accordance with this section. Item 7. R807.1 Attic access. In buildings with combustible ceiling or roof construction, an attic access opening shall be provided to attic areas that exceed 30 square feet (2.82) and have a vertical height of 30 inches (762 mm) or greater. The rough-framed openings shall not be less than 22 inches by 30 inches (559 mm by 762 mm) and shall be located in a hallway or other readily accessible location. A 30- inch (762 mm) minimum unobstructed headroom in the attic space shall be provided at some point above the access opening.
