FASTENER CERTIFICATION
1999 Ohio Residential Code
Section 322.3 Fasteners
Fasteners for pressure preservative and fire-retardant-treated
wood shall be of hot-dipped galvanized steel, stainless steel,
silicon bronze or copper.
Exception: One-half-inch (12.7 mm) diameter or greater steel
bolts.
Because of the corrosive nature of the preservative treatment being used in pressure treated lumber
it is imperative that the correct fasteners be used to ensure the structural integrity of wood decks.
Therefore, it is the policy of the City of Dublin, Building Standards Division to require completion
of this certification, and to require that the used container for either nails or screws which were
utilized in constructing the deck be left on site for framing and final inspections.

NOTE "A - MINIMUM SVE AND REAR YARD SETBACK
REQUIREMENTS- The minimum side yard setback shall
be 8 feet on one side, measured to the closest point of i
the foundation. The total combined side yards shall be at
least 20% of the lot width at the building line. The
minimum rear yard setback shall be 25 feet for the main
building.
NOTE "B" - FENCES: Fences are permitted on the
portions of individual lots not designated hereon as "No
Build Zone"' provided they are in compliance with the
Fence Code sections of the codified ordinances of the
City of Dublin and are, subject to additional restrictions
as set forth in the zoning text applicable to this site.
NOirEE "C' - NO BUILD ZONE: Buildings, outbuildings,
structures, and fences of any kind are hereby prohibited
within the area designated hereon as "No Build Zone'.
Temporary, mobile and portable play structures are
permitted in all of the No Build Zones except that such
play structures are not permitted within the 72' and the
82' No Build Zones along Emerald Parkway. Permanent
play structures are not permitted in said No Build Zones.
Nothing herein shall prohibit overlot grading and drainage
facilities and utility lines and utility structures within said
No Build Zones. The owner of the fee simple title to each
lot that has within it a portion of a No Build Zone shall
maintain said portion of the No Build Zone that is within
the limits of said owner's lot.
NOTE "D' - LANDSCAPE EASEMENT.- The areas
designated hereon as "Landscape Easement' shall be
maintained by an association comprised of the owners of
the fee simple titles to the lots in the Killilea
subdivisions. Landscape Easement areas within Nolon
Court and MAW Court shall be maintained by said
association in accordance with standards as promulgated
by the Dublin City Engineer.
Section 153.210 Dublin - Land Usage t

(A) A driveway serving a residential parking area or lot shall be regulated as follows: parking
areas containing one to eight parking spaces shall have a minimum width of ten feet. Driveways
shall be no less than three feet from a side lot line or adjacent to the side lot line where a single
common drive is provided for two adjoining lots. Driveways shall have a minimum width of ten feet
and a maximum width of 20 feet at the street right-of-way line. Driveways shall have a minimum
width of 16 feet and a maximum width of 26 feet including two 3-foot flairs, one on each side, at the
curb line. In no case shall the width of the driveway exceed the width of the garage entrance.
Driveways exceeding 20 feet in width shall taper in width from the garage or parking area to the
street right-of-way line. Curb cuts or points of ingress/egress shall be generally restricted to promote
traffic safety, and, limited to one per single-family residence.
(B) A driveway serving a commercial parking area or lot shall be regulated as follows:
driveways shall be designed so that vehicles entering or leaving such parking lot will be traveling in a
forward motion. Driveways shall have a maximum width of 30 feet at the street right-of-way line
and a maximum width of 40 feet at the curb line, including two 10-foot radii curb returns.
Driveways, exclusive of curb returns, shall be ten feet or more from the side lot line and 20 feet or
more from another access drive measured at the street right-of-way line. Driveways shall be limited
to one per lot or parcel of land or shall be limited to one for each 200 feet of frontage.
(C) Exceptions to divisions (A) and (B) above require review and approval by the Director of
the Planning Department or designee(s). Appeals may be made to the Board of Zoning Appeals in
:ordance with § 153.231.
