A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE A 0.975 ACRES, MORE OR
LESS, FEE SIMPLE INTEREST, DONATED BY THE
BALGRIFFIN HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, LOCATED
ON THE EAST SIDE OF WILCOX ROAD, CITY OF
DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO.
WHEREAS, the Balgriffin Homeowners Association ("Association") owns certain
lands, titled "Reserve C" and containing 0.975 acres, more or less, located east of
Wilcox Road and illustrated in Exhibit "A" ;and
WHEREAS, the Association desires to donate this parcel of land in fee simple to the
City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive as a donation from the Association a fee simple
interest, in the premises illustrated in Exhibit "A" located in the City of Dublin, County
of Franklin, State of Ohio for parks, recreation, and other governmental uses; and
WHEREAS, this donation will require the Association to execute a General Warranty
Deed to the City of Dublin without consideration or compensation being paid to the
Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ~,L of the elected members concumng that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept and receive a General
Warranty Deed related to the donation from the Association.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest
date provided by law.

Summary
RE: Resolution 55-07 -Authorizing Acceptance of a 0.975 Acre Fee Simple Interest
Donated by the Balgriffin Homeowners Association
At the Council meeting of August 6, Council approved by motion the Balgriffin Homeowners
Association's request to donate .975, more or less, acres of land in Reserve C within Balgriffin
Section 1 to the City of Dublin..
Resolution 55-07 authorizes the City Manager to formally accept a fee simple interest in this
land.
Recommendation
Staff requests Council action to approve Resolution 55-07, authorizing the City Manager to
accept and receive a General Warranty Deed related to the donation from the Association.
