A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED
EMPLOYMENT OF THE CLERK OF COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Section 3.05 of the Dublin Charter provides that Council shall
appoint a person to serve as Clerk of Council who serves at the pleasure of
Council; and
WHEREAS, Anne C. Clarke was appointed as Clerk of Council, effective
November 19, 1991 and continues to serve as Clerk of Council; and
WHEREAS, Council has completed a performance evaluation for the Clerk of
Council and desires to continue the employment of the Clerk of Council.
NOW, THEREF RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The appointment of Anne C. Clarke as the Clerk of Council is
hereby continued.
Section 2. The salary for the Clerk of Council is hereby established at
$78,750.00, effective retroactively to March 1, 2007. All benefits which are
provided to City employees within the adopted Compensation Plan (Ordinance
73-06) shall continue to be provided to the Clerk of Council.
Section 3. The Council agrees to conduct a performance evaluation of the
Clerk of Council on an annual basis. Upon completion of the performance
evaluation process, the Clerk may be considered for a merit increase, effective
March 1 of each year, based upon performance.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect upon passage in accordance with
Section 4.04(a) of the Revised Charter.
