Resolution 035-19RECORD OF RESOLUTIONS Dayton Legal Blank, Inc., Form No. 30045 Resolution No. 3 5 -19 Passed A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO COOPERATE WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE LOG/UNI/FRA-33 SMART MOBIr,ITY CORRIDOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT (ODOT PID N�0MBER 106769) .20 WHEREAS, the following is a Resolution enacted by the City of Dublin, Franklin, Union and Delaware Counties, Ohio, (hereinafter referred to as "Dublin'7, in the matter of the stated described project; and WHEREAS, the Ohio Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as "State' has identified the need for the installation of smart mobility infrastructure along US -33 between East Liberty, Ohio and Dublin, Ohio; and WHEREAS, the State will bid and administer the construction of this project; and WHEREAS, this project is funded with 50% State funds and 50% USDOT Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment (ATCMTD) grant funds; and WHEREAS, the Dublin Community Plan promotes working cooperatively with surrounding jurisdictions to promote regional transportation planning and programming; and WHEREAS, the construction is tentatively planned to start in the late summer/fall of 2019 with completion anticipated in the spring of 2020. NOW, EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring, that: Section 1. Consent Statement. Being in the public interest, Dublin gives consent to the Director of Transportation to complete the above described project. Section 2. Cooperation Statement. Dublin shall cooperate with the Director of Transportation in the above described project as follows: (A) Dublin hereby agrees to cooperate with the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio in the planning, design and construction of the identified highway improvement project and grants consent to the State for its development and construction of the project in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Director; (B) The State agrees to assume and bear one hundred percent (100%) of the necessary costs of the State's highway improvement project. Section 3. Authority to Sign. The City Manager is hereby empowered to enter into contracts on behalf of the City o1® Dublin with the Director of Transportation necessary to complete the above described project. Section 4. This project is funded with 50% state funds and 50% USDOT ATCMTD grant funds.
