A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE
DUMFRIES COURT EAST HYDRAULIC DISCONNECT PROJECT
WHEREAS, formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures have been
conducted, pursuant to Section 8.04 of the Revised Charter and Chapter 37 of the
Dublin Code, for the Dumfries Court East Hydraulic Disconnect project; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid submitted by Complete General
Construction Company on May 29, 2019, constitutes the lowest and best bid.
NOW, THE EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, of its elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The bid submitted by Complete General Construction Company in the
total amount of $468,497.50 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with
Complete General Construction Company for performance and completion of the
Dumfries Court East Hydraulic Disconnect project pursuant to the Advertisement,
Proposal and Contract Documents for said project on file in the office of the City
Engineer.
Section 3. This Council further hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager,
the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, the Clerk of Council, or other appropriate
officers of the City to prepare and sign all other agreements and instruments and to
take any other actions as may be necessary to implement this Resolution and
complete the Project.

method concerns,
For the second bid opening (re -bid) for this project on May 29, 2019, Complete General Construction
Company submitted the lowest and best bid of 1468,497.50. Staff has reviewed the bid and a
summary of the bid received is listed below.
Staff has thoroughly reviewed the bid submitted by Complete General Construction Company on May
29, 2019. Previous experience with Complete General Construction Company has been favorable,
including these recent projects: Hyland -Croy Road/Post Road Interim Traffic Signal Upgrade, Frantz
Road/Bradenton Avenue Traffic Signal Upgrade, and North High Street Widening. Staff is confident
Complete General �-onstructlon Company will perform well on this project.
Staff recommends Council approval of Resolution No. 33-19 accepting as lowest and best the bid of
Complete General Construction Company in the amount of $468,497.50 and authorizing the City
Manager to enter into a contract with Complete General Construction Company for this project.
