Resolution 022-19RECORD OF RESOLUTIONS Dayton Legal Blank, Inc., Form No. 30045 Resolution No. 22-19 Passed A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE 2019 SANITARY SEWER MAINTENANCE PROGRAM WHEREAS, formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures have been conducted, pursuant to Section 8.04 of the Dublin Charter and Chapter 37 of the Dublin Code, for the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Program; and , 20 WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid submitted by Conie Construction, Inc. constitutes the lowest and best bid. NO , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, of its elected members concurring, that: Section 1. The bid submitted by Conie Construction, Inc. in the total amount of $1,750.00 is hereby accepted. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with Conie Construction, Inc. for the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Program pursuant to the Advertisement, Proposal and Contract Documents for said project on file in the office of the City Engineer. Section 3. This Council further hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager, the Director or Law, the Director of Finance, the Clerk of Council, or other appropriate officers of the City to prepare and sign all other agreements and instruments and to take any other actions as may be necessary to implement this Resolution and com7ethis the Project. Garwick, P.E., Senior Civil Engineer Re.x Resolution No. 22-19 — 2019 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Program — Bid Acceptance The annual funds budgeted for this program ($225,000 in ES191 for 2019 and 2020) represents an annual not -to -exceed amount for labor, equipment and material costs to repair the sanitary sewer system deficiencies identified during routine system inspection or on an emergency basis. A summary of the bids are listed below. Work locations will be in various areas around the City. Extension of the contract will be based on the satisfaction of the City Engineer with the service provided by the contractor. Staff recommends Council approval of Resolution 22-19, accepting as lowest and the best the bid of Conie Construction,, Inc. in the amount of $1,750.00 per unit hour and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Conie Construction, Inc. for this project.
