A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS OF
THE CITY OF DUBLIN
WHEREAS, Council has completed their assessment of the available positions on boards
and commissions for terms beginning April 1, 2018 and conducted interviews of candidates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio,
117- of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. William Wilson is hereby appointed to a four-year term on the Nanning and
Zoning Commission, such term expiring on March 31, 2022.
Section 2. Gary Alexander is hereby reappointed to a three-year term on the
Architectural Review Board, such term expiring on March 31, 2021; and Andrew Keeler
is hereby appointed to a three-year term on the Architectural Review Board, such term
expiring on March 31, 2021.
Section 3. Frank Willson is hereby reappointed to a three-year term as representative to
the Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau, such term expiring on March 31, 2021.
Section 4. David Reed is hereby reappointed to a three-year term on the COTA Advisory
Panel, such term expiring on March 31, 2021.
Section 5. Martha Cooper is hereby reappointed to a three-year term on the Board of
Zoning Appeals, such term expiring on March 31, 2021; and Jason Deschler is hereby
appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Zoning Appeals, such term expiring on
March 31, 2021.
Section 6. Elizabeth McClain is hereby appointed to a three-year term on the
Community Service Advisory Commission, such term expiring on March 31, 2021; and
Steve Dritz is hereby appointed to a three-year term on the Community Service Advisory
Commission, such term expiring on March 31, 2021.
Section 7. Mark Stemm is hereby reappointed to a three-year term on the Personnel
Board of Review, such term expiring on March 31, 2021.
Section 8. William Root and Dale Saylor are hereby reappointed to two-year terms on the
Tax Board of Review, such terms expiring on March 31, 2020. Clayton Rose III continues
to serve as the City Manager's representative to the Tax Board of Review, which serves at
the pleasure of the City Manager.
Section 9. Julia Caruso is hereby reappointed to a two-year term on the Dublin Arts
Co�_flncil, such term expiring on March 31, 2020.
Section 10. Each of the above-named persons shall serve until a successor is appointed or
until death, resignation, or removal for cause as determined by City Council.
Section 11. The members of the Planning & Zoning Commission herein appointed shall
receive compensation as established by City Council. The other members appointed herein
shall serve without compensation.
Section 12. This resolution is effective upon passage as provided under Section 4.04(a) of
the Mvised Charter.
