AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENACTING A
SUPPLEMENT (S-43) TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
FOR THE CIN OF DUBLIN, OHIO
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has completed the
current supplement (S-43) to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dublin, which
contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted subsequent to the
prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or
addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances, which are based on or make
reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Legislative Authority to accept these updated sections
in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring, that:
Section 1. The current supplement (S-43) to the Dublin Code of Ordinances as
submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as on file
with the Clerk of Council, be and the same hereby is adopted by reference as if set out in
its entirety.
Section 2. Such supplement shall be deemed published as of the day of its adoption
and approval by the Legislative Authority, and the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized
and ordered to insert such supplement into the copy of the Code of Ordinances kept on
file in the Office of the Clerk of Council.

Summary
Memo
The attached ordinance adopts a supplement (5-43) to the Dublin Code of Ordinances.
This supplement includes local legislation approved by City Council through December 31,
2017 and State legislation current through November 22, 2017.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that Council approve Ordinance 25-18 at the second reading/public
hearing on March 12, 2018. Per the Charter, a recodification is effective upon passage.
