KMI111- Ordinance 85-17 will repeal Section 115.10. The impetus behind this legislation is our growing safety concern with this practice. As you may know, a person was seriously injured in Central Ohio while soliciting contributions in the roadway. While we truly appreciate the service these charitable organizations provide to the Dublin community,. safety takes precedence, The City Manager's office has sent a letter to all the charitable organizations who have filed applications pursuant to Section 115.10 in the past. The letter notified them of this legislation, thd reason behind the legislation and the dates for Council consideration of the legislation. 6�ta?V recommends that Council approve Ordinance 85-17 at the second reading/public hearing on December 4, 2017.
