Hansley, City Manager SUBJECT: Amendments to Annual Appropriations Ordinance DATE: December 16, 1992 INITIATED BY: Marsha I. Grigsby Ordinance 133-92 is needed to appropriate funds for expenditures that were unanticipated at the time the annual appropriations ordinance was prepared and for the Tuller Road Improvement Project. Section 1. appropriates funds for street lighting obligations and for legal services provided by the Law Director. The increase for street lighting is the result of additional lights (i.e. Old Dublin and the Muirfield Drive/Brand Road intersection) and a timing issue which resulted in an extra payment in 1992. The additional request for legal services is for services as specified in the contract for the Law Director. Section 2. appropriates funds for the Tuller Road Improvement Project. When funds were originally appropriated for the project only the amount of the proceeds from the sale of notes was appropriated. In addition to the note proceeds, the City received $279,000 from permissive tax fees. At this time, we are requesting that $100,000 of the $279,000 be appropriated. Additional appropriations for the project are anticipated in 1993. 0
