A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID
FOR THE RINGS ROAD WATERLINE EXTENSION AND
TUSWELL DRIVE WATERLINE RELOCATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, formal advertising and competitive bidding procedures have been
conducted, pursuant to Section 8.04 of the Revised Charter and Chapter 37 of the
Dublin Code, for the Rings Road Waterline Extension and Tuswell Drive Waterline
Relocation Project; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid submitted by Elite Excavating Co. of
Ohio, Inc. constitutes the lowest and best bid.
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, of its elected members concurring, that:
Section 1. The bid submitted by Elite Excavating Co. of Ohio, Inc. in the total
amount of $574,615.00 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts with Elite
Excavating Co. of Ohio, Inc. for performance and completion of the Rings Road
Waterline Extension and Tuswell Drive Waterline Relocation Project, pursuant to the
Advertisement, Proposal and Contract Documents for said project on file in the office
of the City Engineer.
Section 3. This Council further hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager, the
Director of Law, the Director of Finance, the Clerk of Council, or other appropriate
officers of the City to prepare and sign all other agreements and instruments and to
take any other actions as may be necessary to implement this Ordinance and complete
the Project.
Section 4. This Resoluti shall take effect upon passage in accordance with
Sectio 4.04(x) of the Rev' ed Charter.

Waterline Relocation Bid Acceptance
The vacation of the Tuswell Drive right-of-way is required per an agreement between the City of
Dublin and The Stonehenge Company dated September 17, 2008. Per the agreement, the City
shall convey the vacation area to Stonehenge via limited warranty deed. Following the
abandonment of the existing 12-Inch water main, the existing right-of-way will be vacated.
The Engineers estimate for this project was $765,000. Funds totaling $755,000 (consisting o...
$650,000 for project EW111, Rings Road Waterline, and $105,000 for project EW162 Tuswe'
Drive Waterline) are budgeted in the Water Fund this year, as documented in the 2017-2021
Capital Improvements Program. I
Elite Excavating Company of Ohio,, Inc. submitted the lowest and best bid of $574,615-00. A
